5989 is FFPD’s utility vehicle. 5989 is a 2022 Polaris Ranger XP 1000 Northstar Ultimate. 5989 features a 4×4 drivetrain, 80 gallon skid unit, and EMS basket platform. 5989 helps the district get to remote areas that our larger vehicles might not be able to access. 5989 was purchased in 2024 in collaboration with the Fireman’s and EMS Associations.
